Alexandra Kelter
Dr. Alexandra Kelter (Lexi) is a second-year psychiatry resident physician at the University of Michigan. She attended U-M for her undergraduate, and subsequently spent two research years at the University of Pittsburgh Translational Science Program studying the neurobiological basis of schizophrenia. Dr. Kelter completed her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2023. She is specifically interested in risk mitigation among highly vulnerable populations, including youth, first episode psychosis, and serious mental illness. Dr. Kelter has worked to implement firearm safety screening in residency medical education at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Kelter also serves as a Class Representative for the University of Michigan Psychiatry Residency Program and as the Resident Fellow Member Outreach Director for the Michigan Psychiatric Society.
